Stock Spirits Group sponsors Polish Film Festival "Kinoteka"

Stock Spirits Group is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 13th KINOTEKA Polish Film Festival in the UK which is to run from 8th April – 29th May 2015.

The festival marks an annual celebration of Polish cinema and returns to the capital this year with 57 film screenings and other events at 5 venues across London and the UK. The 2015 programme offers audiences a mix of film (including UK premieres), music and visual arts as well as exhibitions, interactive workshops and a line-up of special guests from within the industry including Oskar Dawicki and Gideon Reeling.

This year’s festival launched last night with a screening of Krzysztof Zanussi’s Camouflage at BFI Southbank. At the opening night reception, Stock Spirits Group showcased some of its leading Polish brands – Lubelska, Żołądkowa Gorzka and Żołądkową de Luxe – with a selection of cocktails.   Stock Spirits Group is also set to support the festival’s closing night gala, at which the audience will be invited to experience a boat trip along the River Thames following a screening of the cult Polish comedy Cruise.

Steve Smith, Managing Director of International at Stock Spirits Group, said: “We are delighted to be sponsoring the 2015 KINOTEKA Polish Film Festival. Poland is our largest market and, given the popularity of our brands, we are now looking to increase our presence in the UK.”

Anna Goldewska, the Director of the Polish Cultural Institute in London, said: “KINOTEKA is a brand with a 13-year tradition of delivering the very best of Polish film culture to the UK audience and thus we are delighted to be working this year with Stock Sprits Group, a company that also brings world-class Polish brands to the UK market.”
