Stock Spirits Group, one of Central Europe’s biggest branded spirits producers, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Blatch as Travel Retail Director. Peter Blatch will spearhead the long term optimisation of Stock Spirits’ core brands within the travel retail sector, as the Group looks to expand across Central and Eastern Europe.
Peter joins Stock from Alpha Retail, where he guided the company through a significant year of change as an interim Head of Category. Prior to this, Peter spent sixteen years at The Nuance Group, the world’s largest airport retailer, as European Category Manager for Liquor, Tobacco and Food, implementing a number of creative initiatives and in-store activity programmes to boost sales. He started his career as a buyer for Allders International (The Nuance Group), before moving to Duty Free Shoppers, European Operation.
With over 25 years of experience in retail and in particular FMCG, Peter has initiated and managed many successful programmes and campaigns to strengthen his employers’ positions in a competitive market place.
Peter’s will join Stock’s international team, which is headed up by Tony Roberts, Managing Director.
