Stock Poland launches its first own Scotch whisky brand, Clan Campbell, which adds another category to the company’s portfolio. The traditional Scotch whisky is named after one of the of Scotland’s oldest and most famous clans: The Clan Campbell, and the Polish launch of the brand was honored by the presence of Torquhil Ian Campbell himself, 13th Duke of Argyll, global brand ambassador for Clan Campbell Scotch Whisky.
Clan Campbell Scotch whisky is the first proprietary whisky brand in the portfolio of Stock Polska, Poland’s second largest alcohol producer. Characterized by a subtly sweet undertone and a smoky finish, Clan Campbell whisky is one of the most recognizable and second best-selling Scotch whisky brands in France, Europe’s largest whisky market.
Clan Campbell is a blended whisky invariably produced according to traditional Scottish principles . It is created from the finest malt and grain whiskies. It is matured in oak Bourbon barrels, thanks to which it acquires a characteristic and unique delicately sweet taste with perceptible notes of vanilla, caramel and honey. The composition is signed by the name of Campbell, the oldest Scottish clan, which is a guarantee of timeless tradition and quality. The Clan Campbell whisky bottle is adorned with the Clan’s characteristic symbols emphasizing the heritage and Scottish roots of the brand. The top part of the label is adorned with the Campbell clan crest, while the middle part features a mountainous landscape typical of the Highlands – the Clan’s home region. The fibula embossed in the glass represents the brooch that decorates the Clan’s kilts.
The bottle bears the clan’s motto: “Ne Obliviscaris,” meaning “Don’t forget,” and the signature of Torquhil Ian Campbell, the current head of the Campbell clan.
“In this whisky you can find all the nobility of the Campbell clan, but also of Scotland. Nowhere in the world can you make whisky like this. Of course, there are whiskies from different countries and many different places, but they are not Scottish whiskies. The production of Scotch whisky must meet very strict requirements. At Clan Campbell we adhere to them. We make it from the finest malt whiskies and grain whiskies, distilled and matured in Scotland in oak casks, with an emphasis on selected bourbon casks, which gives it notes of vanilla, honey and sweetness,” said Torquhil Ian Campbell, 13th Duke of Argyll and current head of Clan Campbell during the Warsaw press conference.
Clan Campbell whisky is a brand for consumers who are looking for new taste sensations in traditional spirits, but also appreciate brands with timeless values behind them.
“Clan Campbell’s guiding principles – authenticity and brotherhood – are so universal that they fit perfectly with everyone’s needs today. The Clan Campbell brand attracts people who want to be part of the modern “clan”. To belong to a group of their own choice, where they can feel completely themselves, be understood and accepted. I am convinced that the new brand in our portfolio – Clan Campbell Scotch whisky – will not only meet the expectations of Polish consumers, who are increasingly reaching for quality brands with an authentic story in the background, but will also become one of the most liked and engaging Scotch whisky brands among 18-44 year olds,” says – says Izabela Głodek, Marketing Director of Stock Polska.
Whisky Clan Campbell is the first own whisky brand in Stock Polska’s portfolio, which will enable the company to strengthen its position in the growing whisky category on the Polish market and offer consumers traditional Scotch whisky in several flavor variants, but also a groundbreaking range of RDT (ready-to-drink) products for whisky.
“The purchase of the Clan Campbell brand by Stock Spirits Group is an important step in the development of Stock Poland. The interest of Polish consumers in Scotch whisky is growing every year, and consequently its market share is increasing. The Clan Campbell brand, which perfectly combines traditional values and modern consumer needs, will allow us to reach a group that seeks new sensations in traditional spirits and is open to completely new solutions in the whisky market. Clan Campbell is not only a new brand in our portfolio, but also a new strategic chapter for our entire company. Stock Spirits Group’s investment in the Clan Campbell brand also involves the planned construction of a new distillery close to Inveraray Castle in Scotland, where we will begin production of our own single malt whisky,” says Marek Sypek, Managing Director of Stock Polska.
