Stock Polska serves up a traditional Żołądkowa Gorzka in a new bottle

Żołądkowa Gorzka, one of the most recognizable brands on the Polish market, is undergoing another metamorphosis in its history. Stock Polska is unveiling a new elegant bottle of its flagship product, the taste of which is invariably based on a recipe from 200 years ago and refers to the best distilling traditions.

Żołądkowa Gorzka is one of the most recognizable brands on the Polish alcohol market and one of the most important brands in Stock Polska’s ever-expanding portfolio. Its unique taste, which blends sweet, herbal and slightly spicy notes, is appreciated by consumers and experts not only in Poland, but increasingly worldwide. Żołądkowa Gorzka is distinguished by its original taste and unique recipe, whose history dates back to the 19th century. It is the only major brand still made using a natural maceration process that draws inspiration from the old Polish tradition of herbal tinctures. For 200 years, Żołądkowa Gorzka has been made on the basis of natural macerates of bitter oranges from Haiti and a blend of spices – prepared in a traditional way so that the alcohol can perfectly combine with the ingredients and extract the full aroma and flavors from them. It is the unique maceration process that gives Żołądkowa Gorzka its characteristic colour and unique taste.

The new bottle design of Żołądkowa Gorzka, which premiered at the end of November, emphasizes the unique DNA of the spirit, i.e. the traditional recipe, artisanal roots and the highest quality. This is the ninth bottle design in the history of the most recognizable flavoured vodka in Poland. The packaging, made of thick glass, impresses with its shape, finish and engraved elements. It is decorated with a refreshed label, which perfectly complements the new story of the vodka’s historical roots and is intended to distinguish the unique character of the cult Żołądkowa Gorzka.

The natural production method and multi-level flavour profile makes Żołądkowa Gorzka a great base ingredient in popular cocktails such as “highball”, “collins” or “sour”. What’s more, Żołądkowa Gorzka can also be a great alternative to orange liqueurs in such classic recipes as Margarita, White Lady, Sidecar or Breakfast Martini.
